Soccer Game Preview: Brawley vs. Yuma Catholic

The Brawley Wildcats will square off against the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brawley took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Palo Verde Valley a 3-0 shutout. Brawley haven't had any issues with Palo Verde Valley recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Brawley hit Palo Verde Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noe Lopez, David Gonzalez, and Luisvidal Heras Jauregui.

Meanwhile, Yuma Catholic beat Northwest Christian 3-1 on Tuesday.

Yuma Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Brawley, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

Brawley beat Yuma Catholic by a goal in their previous matchup back in January, winning 3-2. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Shamrocks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
