Soccer Recap: Page's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Page lost against Independence back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots lost 6-2 to the Eagles. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Page were already down 3-0.

Aidan Pierpoint wasn't going to let Independence walk away unscathed as he scored both of Page's goals, bringing his season total up to 18 goals.

Page moved to 6-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Independence, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Page will face off against rival Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Independence is set to take on their familiar foe Nolensville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
