Recap: Kenmore East Bulldogs vs. Medina Mustangs
The Kenmore East Bulldogs took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 50-39 victory over Medina. For Kenmore East, this counts as revenge for the 64-58 loss Medina walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.
Medina's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Preston Woodworth, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Cole Callard, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Kenmore East's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Medina, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Kenmore East will be playing in front of their home fans against Maryvale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Medina, they will head out on the road to face off against Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
