Volleyball Recap: Udall Comes Up Short

Udall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluestem Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Udall was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22.

Ella Myers paced Udall's offense, picking up five kills. Myers got some help from Brilee Pellegrini and her 11 assists.

Udall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Bluestem, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9-4.

Udall has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Belle Plaine on the 2nd. As for Bluestem, they will be taking part in a tournament against Collegiate at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
