Basketball Recap: Phil Campbell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shoals Christian last Thursday, Phil Campbell came back down to earth. The Phil Campbell Bobcats lost 66-40 to the South Lamar Stallions on Thursday. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Phil Campbell has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for South Lamar, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Phil Campbell Bobcats duke it out with the Mars Hill Bible Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for South Lamar, they will welcome Sulligent at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
