There's no place like home for North Augusta, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets with a sharp 68-45 victory on Friday. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Aiken's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sanjaya Johnson, who posted 11 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre'Von Walker, who earned 12 points.

North Augusta pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Aiken, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-11 record.

North Augusta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-48 victory against South Aiken on the 4th. As for Aiken, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-53 defeat against Brookland-Cayce on the 4th.
