Basketball Recap: Nathan Crawford's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cupertino over Sequoia

Cupertino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sequoia Ravens, falling 51-31. The Pioneers were down 42-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Cupertino's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Crawford, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Cupertino's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sequoia, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cupertino will host Willow Glen at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Sequoia, they will look to defend their home court on December 14th against Alisal at 7:00 p.m.
