Basketball Recap: Ravenscroft Comes Up Short at Home Against Greenfield

Ravenscroft unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 58-48 to the Greenfield Knights on Wednesday. The Ravens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Kobe Edwards had a dynamite game For Greenfield., going 8-for-18 en route to 26 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Edwards has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Moore, who posted eight points and five boards.

Looking ahead, Ravenscroft will head out to face off against GRACE Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenfield, they will be playing at home against Living Water Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
