Preview: Zephyrhills Bulldogs vs. Cypress Creek Coyotes
After three games on the road, Zephyrhills is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Cypress Creek Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Zephyrhills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Cypress Creek likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Zephyrhills didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lake Minneola, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory.
Meanwhile, Cypress Creek came up short against Fivay on Tuesday and fell 60-50. Cypress Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Zephyrhills now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Cypress Creek, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-11.
Everything went Zephyrhills' way against Cypress Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Zephyrhills made off with a 72-49 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Cypress Creek's Caleb Edmonds, who scored 17 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Zephyrhills still be able to contain him? There's only one way to find out.
