 Civic Memorial had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by  a  15-3 margin over the Herrin Tigers. Civic Memorial's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Riley Lamb was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.  Jacob Flowers was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 On Herrin's side, they saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  LEX GARNER, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Civic Memorial's win  ended  a  ten-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-4. As for Herrin, they dropped their record down to 1-5-1 with that  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Richland County the next time they take the field. Civic Memorial will head out to face Richland County at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while Herrin will play them later in the day, at 10:00  a.m.
