Softball Recap: Chireno Takes a Loss

Chireno lost against Broaddus back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chireno Owls lost 11-5 to the Broaddus Bulldogs. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chireno's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Broaddus, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

When Chireno and Broaddus next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chireno will try to stop Shelbyville's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on March 14th. Similarly, Broaddus will face off against Corrigan-Camden and their six-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
