Soccer Recap: Wellington School Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty Union, Wellington School was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grove City Christian Eagles a 3-0 shutout.

Wellington School's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4-2. As for Grove City Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Looking ahead, Wellington School will challenge Whitehall-Yearling at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Wellington School will be up against Whitehall-Yearling's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.5 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Grove City Christian, they will host Bishop Rosecrans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
