It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Vero Beach can now relate to. They fell just short of the Palm Beach Central Broncos by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Cody Morgan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits.

Vero Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 24-2. As for Palm Beach Central, they moved to 16-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
