Basketball Recap: Anderson Prep Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Indiana School for the Deaf

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anderson Prep Academy). They blew past the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers 85-27 on Friday. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Anderson Prep Academy was led to victory by Lincoln Fathauer and Zamarion Bryant. Fathauer went 7-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 44 points and three steals, while Bryant dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Bryant's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeff Flowers, who posted six points.

Anderson Prep Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Anderson Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. Indiana School for the Deaf is on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Coming up, Anderson Prep Academy will head out to take on Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on February 28th. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbus Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
