Basketball Recap: West Orange Wins High-Profile Game Against Glen Ridge

On Saturday, West Orange faced Glen Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The West Orange Mountaineers snuck past the Glen Ridge Ridgers with a 43-38 win. This was a revenge game for the Mountaineers: when they faced off against the Ridgers back in January, they had to take a 57-44 defeat.

West Orange's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anaya Karriem, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Karriem is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.
