Baseball Game Preview: Crossroads Current vs. Hancock Tigers

Crossroads hasn't had much luck against Hancock recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Current will venture away from home to challenge the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Crossroads is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Bishop DuBourg, falling 18-0.

Meanwhile, Hancock fell victim to Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Crusaders. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crossroads' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hancock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Crossroads might still be hurting after the 20-0 loss they got from Hancock in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Current avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
