Basketball Game Preview: Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER vs. Academy at Palumbo Griffin

The Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER will head out on the road to challenge the Academy at Palumbo Griffin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Kensington didn't have quite enough to beat Thomas A. Edison and fell 53-51.

Meanwhile, Academy at Palumbo posted their biggest victory since December 10, 2024 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Boys' Latin Charter 64-34. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Griffin considering their 24-point performance the match before.

Kensington has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Academy at Palumbo, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Kensington came up short against Academy at Palumbo in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, falling 53-48. Thankfully for Kensington, Ibrahim Kane (who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 20 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
