Football Recap: Carlsbad Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Carlsbad walked away with it. They snuck past the La Costa Canyon Mavericks with a 27-23 victory on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Mavericks back in October, they had to take a 50-22 loss.

Carlsbad's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.9 points over those games. As for La Costa Canyon, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

As of now, neither Carlsbad nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
