Sioux City East came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Dakota Valley Panthers with a sharp 81-60 win. The Black Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Dakota Valley still got an impressive performance from Luke Bruns, who went 8-for-19 on his way to 28 points and seven rebounds. The contest was Bruns' 20th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Logan Collette, who posted 14 points and five boards.

Sioux City East's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.4 points over those games. As for Dakota Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
