Soccer Recap: South-Doyle Snags Ninth Win in Last Ten Games

South-Doyle hasn't lost a match since March 6th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They never let the Alcoa Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Considering South-Doyle have won nine matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Alcoa from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Gideon Walker led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

South-Doyle is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 52 goals over those ten games. As for Alcoa, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, South-Doyle will take on Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South-Doyle will be up against Loudon's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.9 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Alcoa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
