Basketball Game Preview: Community Christian Royals vs. Chickasha Fighting Chicks

The Community Christian Royals will take on the Chickasha Fighting Chicks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Community Christian against Star-Spencer as the team secured an 81-5 win. The Royals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chickasha, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They breezed past Cache to the tune of 58-18 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Fighting Chicks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Community Christian pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Chickasha, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Community Christian strolled past Chickasha in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 43-28. Will Community Christian repeat their success, or does Chickasha have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
