Rio had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They strolled past the Princeton/Green Lake Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2025, they had to take a 54-49 defeat.

Rio's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Princeton/Green Lake, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Rio has already played their next game, a 72-54 loss against Markesan on the 30th. As for Princeton/Green Lake, they will challenge Fall River at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
