Fontana came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Summit SkyHawks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Steelers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fontana was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Donavan Bacon paced Fontana's offense, picking up 18 kills. Bacon got some help from Luis Gonzalez and his 26 assists. Gonzalez also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Serjio Parra, racking up two apiece.

Fontana pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Summit, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Coming up, Fontana will face off against Rialto at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Steelers are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Summit, they will square off against Bloomington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
