Volleyball Recap: Taylor Triumphs

While Taylor's victory against Crescent City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Raiders 3-2 on Tuesday.

Taylor was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-101), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 23-25, 12-25, 15-13.

Taylor Lane was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 22 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since September 8th.

Taylor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They served four more aces than Crescent City's also-impressive total of 14.

Taylor is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Crescent City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor will host Pine Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Crescent City, they will face off against Hawthorne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
