Basketball Game Preview: DSST: Montview Knights vs. DSST: College View Wolves

The DSST: Montview Knights will square off against the DSST: College View Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, DSST: Montview needed a bit of extra time to put away DSST: Conservatory Green. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 84-72.

Meanwhile, everything went DSST: College View's way against DSST: Cedar on Tuesday as DSST: College View made off with a 56-35 victory. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

DSST: Montview better focus on containing Joshua Sosa and Isaias Tomita as the pair were huge in DSST: College View's win. Sosa went 7-for-9 to rack up 20 points and three steals, while Tomita posted 11 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Tomita is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least seven every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Craig Johnson, who put up five points along with five boards and four steals.

DSST: College View is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for DSST: Montview, their record now sits at 12-9.
