Volleyball Recap: Bryan Vikings vs. Temple Wildcats

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Creek, Bryan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Temple Wildcats. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Bryan never let Temple on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-17.

Zamia Turner paced Bryan's offense, picking up ten kills. Turner got some help from Allison Warden and her 13 assists. Warden was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Bryan's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-27. As for Temple, they moved to 19-23 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Bryan is on the road again on Tuesday to play Copperas Cove at 6:00 p.m. Copperas Cove will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bryan surely won't give up without a fight. Temple does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
