Ripon has gone 8-2 against Hilmar recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Ripon Indians will welcome the Hilmar Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Ripon came up short against Escalon and fell 58-47.

Meanwhile, Hilmar earned a 62-52 win over Hughson on Wednesday.

Ripon better keep an eye on Aaron Solorio. He was instrumental in Hilmar's win, going 8-for-17 en route to 23 points and eight boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Solorio has scored at least a third of Hilmar's points. Another player making a difference was Riley Quintero, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Ripon's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points over those games. As for Hilmar, their victory bumped their record up to 8-18.

Ripon took their win against Hilmar in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 75-53. Will Ripon repeat their success, or does Hilmar have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
