The Carolina Christian Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by North Hills Christian at home and fell 82-24. Carolina Christian has not had much luck with North Hills Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Champion Hayden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Hills Christian, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Hayden has scored at least 25% of North Hills Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerrod Drye Jr., who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 assists.

Carolina Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for North Hills Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carolina Christian will challenge Hickory H at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Hills Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Union Grove Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
