Volleyball Recap: Spalding Takes a Loss

Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Christian Lions. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8.

Leading Trinity Christian to victory were Lexie Starcher and Aryn O'Pry. Starcher had 15 assists and two aces, while O'Pry had five digs and two aces. That's the most assists Starcher has posted since back in August.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Trinity Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spalding will venture away from home to challenge Mary Persons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian, they will square off against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
