Baseball Game Preview: Cary-Grove Trojans vs. Huntley Red Raiders

The Cary-Grove Trojans will take on the Huntley Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Cary-Grove will be strutting in after a win while Huntley will be coming in after a loss.

Cary-Grove had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Niles North on Saturday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Preston Walsh looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
