Football Recap: T.C. Roberson Rams vs. South Caldwell Spartans
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask T.C. Roberson). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-6 victory over the South Caldwell Spartans. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6.
A big part of T.C. Roberson's win came down to the chemistry between Karod Harris and his top target Kanyus Atkins. Harris threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes while Atkins picked up 154 receiving yards and three TDs. Atkins' longest reception was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total. Mookah Simpson was another key player, gaining 90 total yards and a touchdown.
