Volleyball Recap: Lyons Lions vs. Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights
Lyons posted their closest win since September 19th on Saturday. They skirted past the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights 2-1.
Lyons had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 15-13.
Keira Weber paced Lyons' offense, picking up 14 kills. Weber got some help from Kamryn Bonnell and her 17 assists. Peyton Bonnell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Lyons has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-3 record this season. As for Bishop Ludden, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-5.
