Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oxford Prep). They claimed a resounding 70-39 victory over the River Mill Jaguars. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Griffins with their most commanding win of the season.

Davis Faulkner had a dynamite game for Oxford Prep, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. The dominant performance also gave Faulkner a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was Drew West, who posted nine points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

Oxford Prep now has a winning record of 5-4. As for River Mill, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Oxford Prep will venture away from home to challenge Voyager Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Voyager Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 231 points over their last three matches. As for River Mill, they will challenge Woods Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
