Baseball Recap: Warner Comes Up Short

Warner came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-6 to the Pocola Indians. The Eagles have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Ethan Glover made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Talon Longshore was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Warner now has a losing record of 1-2-1.

Coming up, Warner will face off against Okemah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pocola, they will challenge Spiro at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
