Basketball Recap: Lincolnview Comes Up Short

Lincolnview lost against St. John back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lincolnview Lancers were beaten by the St. John's Bluejays 74-45. The Lancers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-25.

Lincolnview has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for St. John's, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lincolnview has already played their next game (against Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. John's will look to defend their home court on Friday against New Bremen at 6:00 p.m. St. John's knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully New Bremen likes a good challenge.
