Soccer Recap: Mt. Hope Falls Short Against Ranked Chariho + How To Watch

Mt. Hope faced Chariho in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies fell 4-2 to the Chargers. If Mt. Hope were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to Chariho when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Thea Jackson and Elise Lanoie scored both of Mt. Hope's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Mt. Hope is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5-2. As for Chariho, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Hope is set to square off against their familiar foe Smithfield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chariho will challenge rival Pilgrim at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
