Volleyball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lexington lost against Mars Hill Bible last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Golden Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Jaylee Williams paced Lexington's offense, picking up five kills. Williams got some help from Kathleen Moncus and her 12 assists. Moncus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 22-29. As for Mars Hill Bible, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-10.

Coming up, Lexington will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Tanner at 2:00 p.m. As for Mars Hill Bible, they will challenge Belgreen at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
