Recap: Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars vs. Fairfield Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasant Valley, the Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They walked away with a 66-56 win over Fairfield. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Lehigh Valley Academy to victory were Christopher Hunt and Joell McNeil. Hunt scored 20 points, while McNeil scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McNeil has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Varner, who scored nine points.
Lehigh Valley Academy's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Fairfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lehigh Valley Academy will take on Salem Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Salem Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Fairfield, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against York County Tech at 6:00 p.m. York County Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
