Baseball Recap: Hanna Golden Eagles vs. San Benito Greyhounds        
        
		
            
 Hanna lost against San Benito last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Hanna Golden Eagles fell  10-5 to the San Benito Greyhounds. Hanna has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Orlando Rico and  Gene Martinez stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Rico  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Martinez  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Hanna  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 On San Benito's side,  Robby Leal looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also only allowed one  walk). Leal has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  hit in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Gabriel Covarrubias was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Angelo Villareal, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Hanna's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for San Benito, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season.
 Hanna will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Los Fresnos at 6:30  p.m.  on April 9th. As for San Benito, they will head out on the road to  take on  Rivera at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. San Benito's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Rivera's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
