Recap: Brewster Bears vs. Quincy Jackrabbits
The Brewster Bears pushed their score all the way to 61 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 96-61 loss at the hands of Quincy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (56), Brewster still had to take the loss.
Quincy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Pierce Bierlink out in front who scored 35 points. The matchup was Bierlink's seventh in a row with at least ten points. julian Ibarra was another key contributor, scoring 23 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Brewster and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Quincy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Brewster and Reardan will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Quincy, they will head out on the road to face off against Cascade at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Quincy is ranked 37th).
