Texas high school football: Week 6 schedule, scores

Weekend slate headlined by No. 4 North Shore traveling to No. 24 King.

This week's Texas high school football schedule is headlined by No. 4 North Shore (Houston) traveling to No. 24 King (Houston) on Friday.

North Shore vs. King is the only head-to-head matchup between top 25 teams this weekend. North Shore has outscored its first four opponents 185-33 while King is putting up 43.5 points per game.

In other action, No. 18 Katy travels to take on 4-0 Jordan (Fulshear), Horn (Mesquite) will battle No. 20 Rockwall on the road and Brownsboro will try to steal a road win from No. 22 Carthage.



Katy has won three straight games since dropping a 42-34 decision to No. 2 Atascocita (Humble) while Jordan has dispatched four opponents by an average nearly 30 points per game.

Horn, who fell 20-16 to North Forney (Forney) last week, will take on Rockwall a week after the Yellowjackets upended rival Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall) 38-22. Carthage carries a 21-game winning streak into its home game with Brownsboro, who lost 28-7 to Van last weekend.
