Baseball Game Preview: Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles vs. Kansas City Christian School Panthers

For the first time this season, Maranatha Christian Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Kansas City Christian School Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Maranatha Christian Academy challenged Harmon on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Hawks, falling 19-8.

Chase Ingalsbe was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those stolen bases marked the first that he snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Auden Smail, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Kansas City Christian School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-4 to Kansas City East Christian Academy last Saturday.

Maranatha Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kansas City Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
