Basketball Recap: Lynn Classical Takes a Loss

If Lynn Classical was feeling good fresh off their 63-43 takedown of Somerville two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lynn Classical Rams took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Swampscott Big Blue on Thursday. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lynn Classical's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Swampscott, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical will venture away from home to challenge Melrose at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Swampscott, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
