 The Concord Christian Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Monday. They breezed by Apostolic Christian at home  to the tune of  94-51. Concord Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matches by 25  points or more this season.
 Concord Christian's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Cale Smith, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and nine  rebounds. Smith has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's  played.  Drew Sloan was another key contributor,  scoring 16 points along with six  rebounds and two  blocks.
 The  win was  the fifth in a row for Concord Christian, bringing their record for this year to 13-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Apostolic Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Concord Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against the Eagles at 7:30  p.m.  on January 30th. Hopefully First Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up nine on Monday. Clayton-Bradley Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to  an eight-game streak of away losses.
