Basketball Recap: Richards Comes Up Short

If Richards was riding high fresh off their 50-29 takedown of Blue Island Eisenhower last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs were dealt a 64-32 loss at the hands of the Reavis Rams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in January of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 58-57 score last time.

Richards has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Reavis, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Richards will face off against rival Oak Lawn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reavis is set to challenge their familiar foe Shepard at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
