Volleyball Recap: Lynn Classical Comes Up Short

Lynn Classical lost against Malden back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams fell just short of the Golden Tornados by a score of 3-2. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lynn Classical was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Malden work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 23-25, 15-13.

Viet Tran paced Lynn Classical's offense, picking up 15 kills. Tran got some help from Kenzel Lantano and his 37 assists. Luca Lopriore controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lynn Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Malden, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynn Classical is set to face off against their familiar foe Lynn English at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Malden will take on rival Revere at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
