Stuyvesant's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Thursday. They didn't even let the Cardozo Judges on the board, marking the Peglegs' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Peglegs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Stuyvesant pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cardozo, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Stuyvesant will take on Architecture, Engineering and Construction at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardozo, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against John Adams on the 25th.
