Recap: Agua Fria Owls vs. Eatonville Cruisers
The Agua Fria Owls were the 47-45 winner over the Eatonville Cruisers when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Agua Fria took a 42-25 bruising from Eatonville on Saturday. Agua Fria has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Agua Fria's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tami Balogun, who scored eight points along with four steals and four blocks, and Karla Mendez who scored four points along with three steals. Mendez hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games.
Agua Fria has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Eatonville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Agua Fria will take on Goldwater at 5:30 p.m. on January 8th. As for Eatonville, they will be playing at home against Montesano at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
