Volleyball Recap: East Palestine Comes Up Short

East Palestine lost against United on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Baylee Smith went supernova For United., getting 25 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Smith has posted since back in August.

East Palestine has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for United, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Palestine will challenge rival Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, United is set to square off against their familiar foe David Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
