Baseball Recap: Eads Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Eads put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Holly Wildcats as they made off with a 17-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 on Friday.

Eads got a massive performance out of Jayson Bletzacker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those six RBI gave Bletzacker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Spencer Uhland, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Eads pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Holly, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Eads has already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Cheyenne Wells on the 1st. As for Holly, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-2 loss against Las Animas on the 29th.
